Game Summary
2001 : City 17, County 6

The speed of the City and the mistakes of the County were deciding factors in this game. The County had turnover problems, losing 5 fumbles and a pass interception. Tim Dance of Prep, despite nursing a bruised shin, had 10 carries for 74 yards. Both City touchdowns were on passes, a 50-yarder from Joe Slomski of East to Joe Evans of East and an 8-yarder from Mike Panighetti of McDowell to Josh Lustig of Prep. Kyle Orth of McDowell kicked a 42-yard field goal and two extra points. Dan Shields of Fort LeBoeuf scored the County touchdown on a 10-yard run. Corey Lear of Northwestern led the County ground game with 11 carries for 48 yards.

Game Summary
2002: City 26, County 17

Jovon Johnson of Mercyhurst Prep put on one of the finest individual performances in game history. The future Iowa defensive back piled up 344 total yards, with 109 yards on 2 kickoff returns, 107 yards on 2 pass receptions, 86 yards on a punt return, 31 yards on a pass interception and 11 yards on 2 rushing attempts. Johnson set the tone on the game’s first play when he took a halfback pass from Ryan Sherwood-Ericsson of McDowell and went 80 yards for a TD. Johnson also scored on the 86-yard punt return. Dywon Rowan of Mercyhurst Prep ran 7 yards and Sherwood-Ericsson plunged 1 yard for the other City scores. Josh Vogel of Harbor Creek had a 31-yard TD run and Dave Jazenski of Iroquois returned a fumble 31 yards for a touchdown for the County. Matt Widdowson of Harborcreek kicked a 41-yard field goal
