2003 : County 28, City 3

Big plays paved the way for the County. Shawn Adams of Union City returned a fumble recovery 75 yards for a score. Two other touchdowns came on long passes, a 62-yarder from Matt Seth of General McLane to Ryan Learn of Harbor Creek and a 50-yarder from Ben Fenell to former Northwestern teammate Dan Palmer. Fenell also ran for a 1-yard touchdown. Kyle Snoke of Cathedral Prep kicked a 33-yard field goal for the City’s only points. Fenell completed 7 of 12 passes for 96 yards. Seth led the County with 61 yards on 7 carries and caught 4 passes for 36 yards. The County owned a 324-160 edge in total yards. Jeremy Lightner of Fairview had 2 interceptions for the County, Pat Duda with 13 tackles.

Game Summary
2004: City 35, County 28

Chris Hoderny of McDowell completed 7 of 10 passes for 233 yards and 3 touchdowns. Hoderny hit Bryan Sechrist of Cathedral Prep for scoring passes of 45 and 58 yards and threw 86 yards to Tyrone Buckner of Prep on a screen pass for another TD. Sechrist caught 3 passes for 123 yards. Tommy Clanton of Central and Vince Senita of McDowell scored on short runs for the City. Fort LeBoeuf quarterback Cory Lamison threw for 136 yards, including a TD pass to Doug Osborn of Fort LeBoeuf. Rickie Thompson of North East scored on runs of 1 and 5 yards and Mike Tripp of Girard ran 1 yard for County scores. The game ended when Kevin Walker of General McLane returned an intercepted pass 57 yards before being stopped. The City was forced to pass in the closing seconds to meet the minimum requirement under Save-An-Eye rules.
