Game Summary
1955 : City 19, County 13
Over 13,000 fans saw quarterback Johnny Torrelli of Cathedral Prep score on a 19-yard halfback pass from Tom Corapi of Prep with 35 seconds left to decide the game. Torrelli also had a 90-yard kickoff runback for a touchdown. Chuck Augustine of Prep ran 9 yards for a touchdown and a 6-0 City halftime lead. John Gage of Albion went 30 yards with a fumble recovery for a score, Jack Johnson of Lawrence Park with the conversion. Dick Sorenson of Corry scored on a 1-yard plunge for the County. The County had a 13-12 lead until the final dramatic City TD. The County comeback featured Tom Mowrey of Fairview and Jim Concilla of North East. Mowery and Torrelli won MVP awards.

Game Summary
1956: City 33, County 12
The City dominated in front of 14,000 fans. A balanced attack helped the City roll up a 234-36 edge in rushing. Tony Nunes of Tech had 57 yards on the ground. Paul DeRaimo of Tech also had 57 yards. Jim Freebourn of Strong Vincent had 35 yards rushing, Ray Nicolia of Prep with 30. Nicolia scored on a 55-yard interception return and kicked three extra points. Dave Blake of Academy scored on a 74-yard pass from Nunes. Nunes, DeRaimo and Mike Gregory of Academy also scored on 1-yard runs for the winners. Tony Sanfilippo of North East plunged 1 yard and Jack Delavern of Millcreek caught a 65-yard pass from Tom Hilinski of Harborcreek for County touchdowns. Sanfilippo accounted for 55 yards rushing, 27 yards receiving and 21 yards passing.
