Game Summary
1981 : City 14, County 0

The City scored early and late while keeping the County off the scoreboard. A 56-yard drive in the first period was spiced by a 13-yard pass from Keith Latzo of East to Rick Skonieczka of Academy. Latzo then threw 31 yards to Lee Barney of Academy for the touchdown. Barney ran the conversion for an 8-0 lead. The City engineered another drive late in the game, featuring a 17-yard pass from Mark Gnacinski of Strong Vincent to Skonieczka. Lance Trott of Prep ran the final 3 yards for the touchdown with 1:22 to play. Bob Moss of Strong Vincent ended the biggest County threat with an interception on the 10-yard line. Ray Leibel of Fairview had 2 interceptions for the County. Another star for the City was Gilbert Marsh of East, who continually pinned the County deep with his punting. The game featured 13 players who had signed to play for coach Tony DiMeo at Mercyhurst College.

Game Summary
1982: City 18, County 10

The City rallied from a 10-0 deficit to win. The County took the lead on an 8-yard touchdown run by Curt Cardman of Fairview. Kent Whitaker of Fairview kicked the extra point. Scott Otteni of General McLane recovered a fumble to ignite the drive, which was highlighted by a 17-yard Cardman pass to Rich Jacobitz of Iroquois. Cardman teamed up with Baron Joles of Union City for a 53-yard toss in the second quarter. Doug Dalton of Prep made a saving tackle at the 11-yard line. The County settled for a 32-yard field goal by Whitaker for the 10-0 edge. John Chiarelli of Strong Vincent scored the first City TD in the third quarter on a 9-yard run after John Danilov of McDowell had recovered a fumble at the 12-yard line. Mark Deitsch of McDowell followed with a 55-yard TD run as the City moved in front. The final City march featured a 16-yard run by Deitsch and a 20-yard pass from Matt Chilcott to former East teammate Mark Williams
