Jim Wade of Fort LeBoeuf was
a star in the 50 th anniversary game. He had 4 pass receptions
for 42 yards, 2 kickoff returns for 70 yards and a punt
return for a 66-yard touchdown. Jeff Fox of Fairview with
a 1-yard run and Gary Gilbert of General McLane with a
4-yard run scored the other County touchdowns. Rob Glus
of Northwestern kicked two extra points for the County.
Sonny Carson of Strong Vincent scored from 1 yard out and
Aaron Satyshur of East took a 22-yard pass from Mike Heberle
for the City touchdowns. John Baumann of Prep kicked the
extra point. Paul Luke of North East gained 106 yards on
21 carries for the winners. Heberle passed for 107 yards.
Kip Kuzmin of Northwestern clicked on 6 of 12 passes for
63 yards. Carson had 39 yards rushing and 53 returning
kicks. A City drive was stopped at the County 23-yard line
as time expired. |
